Like any good RPG, the party select screen at a video game company is the most important menu, since it helps decide the strategy and tactics for success. The following characters have been added (or dropped) to form new parties.

Mitch Galbraith has been hired as Executive Vice President and General Manager of IGN Entertainment. He was previously Chief Operating Officer at Funny or Die.

Alexis Madinier has been appointed Studio Director of Sumo Digital’s India studio.

Bill Roper has joined Improbable’s leadership team as Chief Creative Officer. Roper was previously at The Walt Disney Company as Head of DI Central Creative with DCPI Labs (Disney Consumer Products and Interactive Media).

Also joining Improbable is Jason Jhonson, the new Chief Marketing Officer. Jhonson was previously Senior Director of Developer and Product Marketing at GitHub.

Voice actor Troy Baker has taken on the role of Performance Capture Director for Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment’s Middle-earth: Shadow of War, as well reprising the role of Talion in the game.

Indie mobile developer Hutch has hired Rachael Edwards as Producer. Also joining Hutch is Corentin Delprat, as Senior Designer.

In addition to the new hires, the International Game Developers Association’s executive director, Kate Edwards, is stepping down from her role. Trent Oster, chair of the board of directors and CEO of Beamdog, will serve as the interim executive director until a suitable replacement is found.
