AFKer Patches keeps track of new updates being made available, be they patches, DLC, or anything else. In today’s update, ArcheAge discovers Erenor Eternal, Scribbled Arena gets into portals, CABAL Online hires the Force Gunner, Air Guitar Warrior for Kinect plays 1.1, and Schlocks enjoys Summer Activities.
F2P MMO ArcheAge has received its latest free expansion, Erenor Eternal. The update features a mix of new content and updates to existing core systems. Level 55 players will be able to continue advancing their characters with up to 7 levels of the new Ancestral skillset, modifying certain basic skills with special elemental effects to change their power or functionality. Several new zones have been added, including the oceanic Whaleswell Strait, the secluded Aegis Island, and the massive Whalesong Harbor. The new areas include new quests, leveling areas, and a new housing province.
The new Erenor tier of crafted gear allows players to continue advancing existing Divine grade Ayanad weapons, armor, and accessories. In addition, the equipment crafting flow has been simplified and RNG completely removed. Not only will all tiers of crafted items be upgradable as long they meet the grade requirements, but rather than “unsealing” crafted items to discover random results, players will instead “uncloak” them and select the variant they want. Two new battlegrounds reward players with Honor and materials used to craft the new Erenor equipment, those being the three-phase Tower of Ipnya on Aegis Island, and the four-phase Containment Tower in Whalesong Harbor.
The Trade Pack system has been revised to streamline ocean and overland routes, while trade outposts have been placed at trade ports, inland cities, and abroad. The regrade system has been reworked with most items now available to regrade to Eternal, the new regrade rarity which further extends available gear advancement. New levels and socketed slots have been added for higher grade items, and a new regrade UI displays the chance of success. Regrades are also split into three levels of difficulty, allowing an easier path to high item grades if easier gear to regrade is chosen.
Early Access tank battler Scribbled Arena has added new features to innovate gameplay. The new Portals allow instant travel from one point of the map to the other and allow projectiles to pass through them, allowing players to target enemies on the other side of the portal.
Other additions include electric fences that block all projectiles passing through them and provide quick cover, while air vents periodically let our steam that damages tanks coming in contact with them from dangerous situations and can be used to bait enemies. Lastly, the new speed powerup grants a temporary boost.
Action MMO CABAL Online has pushed Episode XVII: Force Gunner. The free update introduces a new unique class, The Force Gunner, which features long-range damage with an arsenal of guns and machines. The Force Gunner’s attack style features critical attacks and fluid damage combinations. Episode XVII also brings several quality of life changes, including a new gear upgrade tier, more damage buff skills and retuning of the game’s classes.
Air Guitar Warrior for Kinect
The 1.1 patch of Air Guitar Warrior for Kinect adds player-requested features, including the ability to zoom into poses in album covers for a closer look. Players who complete the game on Expert Difficulty can now rock out with Zeus. Bosses now telegraph their attacks on Normal Difficulty, while a number of bug fixes and quality of life improvements have been implemented.
VR party game Schlocks has added new Summer Activities games, including taking a remote control car for a spin, blowing some bubbles, flipping some tasty burger patties, and taking aim with waterguns.
