Both stones streamline the equipment upgrade process for player convenience.
Vikings – Wolves of Midgard
Vikings – Wolves of Midgard has added ‘couch’ co-op multiplayer to the PC and PlayStation 4 versions of the game, with Xbox One to follow. Two players can join forces on one console or PC to fight their way through hordes of frost giants and rival clans. In addition to couch co-op, significant changes have also been made to New Game+, enabling players to carry over their items while increasing the difficulty of subsequent playthroughs of the main campaign. Another new feature is the stash, a new addition to the village hub that gives players the ability to share items between all their different characters. In addition, players may now share items with fellow players during multiplayer games.
Other changes include improvements to the Trials of the Gods, new effects for legendary items, changes to talismans, adjustments to several boss fights and improvements to sounds, voiceovers, stability, UI, performance and localization.
Tactical combat game Shock Tactics has been patched, improving graphical quality, eliminating some bugs, and otherwise optimizing the game. The update enables Allied Free Space Pioneers to actively participate in fights and not just defend themselves, allowing them to reposition themselves and fight over longer distances. Players can now skip the first tutorial missions but keep the rest of the tutorials enabled and saving times have been notably reduced for new save games.
Endless Space 2
In addition to numerous general performance and AI improvements, the Stellar Prisoner update for 4X strategy game Endless Space 2 adds Neutron Star, new battle arena that provides bonuses to players who control this special node. A new quest is triggered upon the discovery of the Neutron Star. Additional new content includes a new Endless Virtual hero, a new Cravers Prime hero, unlocked by the community during the E.N.F.E.R. ARG, two new unique planets, and modding improvements, including the ability to edit visuals (hero, quests, events) and textures (planets, ships).
VR robot smash ‘em up VRobot has implemented New York City into fields, allowing players to clear the city of evil robots and destroy some famous landmarks at the same time. The update also adds Super Robot 3000, an enemy as large as the player’s robot, as well as the new Transformers 5 Sword, a massive blade that helps destroy robots and clear cities more effectively than before. A new score-based system has replaced the original timer function.
Dig or Die
Action/strategy sandbox game Dig or Die has patched in multiplayer. The update also implements a full graphic overhaul of the interface, and adds a lot of improvements like the parameters customization system. The players can now tweak their game to modify the precipitation rate, the monsters strength, the scarcity of minerals, and change the rules for every new game.
Mirage: Arcane Warfare
Multiplayer FPS Mirage: Arcane Warfare has released a new patch that adds two highly-requested new features: Team Autobalance (for player numbers) and Russian language localization. The patch also includes a host of bug fixes.
Heavy Metal Machines
The latest update for car-combat MOBA Heavy Metal Machines adds two new features: Teams, which makes it possible create a guild of up to five members, with a defined name, tag and icon picture to distinguish it from its competitors; and Custom Match, where players can prepare special rooms to play with their friends.
Tower defense Android game Cosmic Cry has added new levels, new graphics, more voice output, sounds and effects in addition to new enemy units and tactical challenges in its latest update.
