AFKer Patches keeps track of new updates being made available, be they patches, DLC, or anything else. In today’s update, MU Origin arrives in the Land of Ordeal, War Wings launches Squadrons, and Galactic Civilizations III patches the base and the Crusade.

MU Origin
Update 1.8 for mobile MMORPG MU Origin adds substantial new features and events. The new Kalutan area is now available in the game. Players who are 10 Rebirth or higher, and who can pay the 15,000 Zen entrance fee, will gain access to Kalutan and its new monsters. The eponymous Land of Ordeal, a new Server Boss Field, adds five new challenging monsters for players to tackle in large-scale battles of up to 100 people. On Saturdays and Sundays, players will have a half-hour to defeat the bosses and their minions – success yields random items from the monsters, while the player who deals the most damage to the boss will acquire rare loot.

The Domain System, meanwhile, is a new feature allowing players to develop and maintain their very own domain. Their domain consists of four buildings: Observatory, Tower of Magic, Gate of Ordeal, and Tower of Battle. Players can develop these buildings by hiring workers. Work increase player EXP by building, and they can pick up various other items and rewards for completing various building quests. Domain development continues even when players are not playing the game.

War Wings
Mobile dogfighter War Wings now allows players to form Squadrons with up to twenty members. Invitations to join Squadrons can be sent through the game’s Team Formation menu and every squadron member will bear a unique identifier during battles. There are twenty-five squadron emblem options available to personalize the new air combat units.

The Achievement system has been completely overhauled: the introduction of Ace Achievement challenges shifts the emphasis to recognizing pilot skill or collaboration during dogfights, over the previous system of rewarding easily attainable, repetitive actions. The new update also introduces a new tier 4 aircraft, the Soviet LaGG-3.

Galactic Civilizations III
The 2.3 patch for Galactic Civilizations III and its Crusade expansion balances the game and introduces numerous bug fixes. The base game improves the AI’s ability for diplomacy and adds more anomalies in the early game, while Crusade now has new missions for galactic exploration and a new “Mogul” promotion have been added.
