In today’s update, Watch Dogs 2 advocates No Compromise, Star Trek Online remembers the consoles, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare discovers Continuum, Torment: Tides of Numenera washes out performance issues.
Watch Dogs 2
The PlayStation 4 version of Watch Dogs 2 have received No Compromise, a new DLC pack. It includes the new Moscow Gambit DedSec operation, which involves hacking a porn studio and fighting the Russia mafia; a new racing time trial challenge that includes six single-player car races, complete with a dedicated leader board; two new non-lethal weapons and three new emergency services packs, with new vehicles and outfits themed around DedSec that also add a new skill. The new content allows Marcus to, amongst other things, freeze NPCs and revive unconscious NPCs.
No Compromise follows a massive free update released on all platforms on April 17, 2017, which added thirteen new outfits, new online features and an endgame challenge, the new Showd0wn PvP mode, which pits two-player teams against each other in hectic 2v2 battles. These matches are a King-of-the-Hill faceoff, Doomload; a defensive duel, Hack/Protect the Servers and a high-tech hunting race, Steal the HDD.
Star Trek Online
The console versions of MMORPG Star Trek Online have received Season 12 – Reckoning. The update includes everything that was present for the PC version, including the introduction of the Tzenkethi, a powerful and militant species, the new Lukari ship, a new reputation, two new space queues, and the new Research and Development school.
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare have introduced their second DLC pack, Continuum. The pack contains four new maps, including the return of the Modern Warfare 2 map Rust, “re-imagined for today’s generation with an ultramodern look.” The new DLC pack also features Shaolin Shuffle, the zombie-themed “experience” set across a variety of disco-era New York locations, including subways, flashy nightclubs and a martial arts dojo headed up by the Shaolin Sister.
Torment: Tides of Numenera
Torment: Tides of Numenera has released a massive performance update to address the glitches and bugs brought to its attention in the media and by players. These include an issue that was preventing party members from bantering and looping sound effects.
