AFKer Patches keeps track of new updates being made available, be they patches, DLC, or anything else. In today’s update, Cloud Pirates seeks Death or Glory and Warframe sings Octavia’s Anthem.
Steam Early Access MMO Cloud Pirates has reached version 1.2. Entitled Death or Glory, the update introduces the Brotherhood Ladder System, a new game mode that allows the Cloud Pirate Brotherhoods to form teams and participate in Brotherhood versus Brotherhood combat during specific days and times on standard maps and in standard game modes. Two teams from the same Brotherhood cannot meet one another in battle.
A new Deathmatch map, called The Fractal Space, has been added. In-game lore declares it was created by an ancient, insane race, driven by the instinct to destroy. The game has also added a daily bonus for the first victory of the day, which will double the experience points earned. This bonus resets daily.
Happy fourth birthday to Warframe, which has given itself a gift called Octavia’s Anthem. The update incorporates a new quest in search of the new Octavia Warframe. Along with Octavia comes the introduction of a simple musical instrument, the Mandachord, that enables players to compose original songs and synchronize them to their weapons. This music can be composed solo or in cooperation with other players, as well as traded. Two new weapons have been added that take advantage of the new Mandachord.
In addition, the new Captura tool allows players capture and edit images of their Warframes and use them as wallpaper, screenshots, or art. As a final gift, players will receive four anniversary gifts, a new one for this year, and one from each of the previous years.
