AFKer Patches keeps track of new updates being made available, be they patches, DLC, or anything else. In today’s update, Heavy Metal Machines likes killer clowns, Resident Evil 7 finds more Banned Footage, Deus Ex: Breach updates its transhumanity, Farming Simulator 17 gets some new gear, Mabinogi Duel adds new boosters, and Crusader Kings II gives away some portraits.
Heavy Metal Machines
Steam open beta Heavy Metal Machines has received a large update. The game has added a number of new features, including the official opening of the in-game cash shop. This allows players to buy items like DLC characters before they go into general rotation or boosters to fame and experience. There is also the new Founder’s Pack, for players wanting to guarantee all Heavy Metal Machines pilots right off the bat (current and upcoming) plus Gold Skins and more goodies at launch. The Founder’s Pack will come in Gold, Silver and Bronze editions.
On the topic of characters, the game has added Killer J, a clown Interceptor and a specialist in creating chaos. “The ultimate troll in the Arena,” clown uses The Big Joke, a huge exploding barrel that does an area-of-effect attack that leaves enemies spinning out of control, and A Compliment, which reflects 50% of all damage taken back to his attackers.
Resident Evil 7
The PlayStation 4 edition of Resident Evil 7 biohazard adds more DLC. Banned Footage Vol. 2 is available for $9.99 (or free for those with the Deluxe Edition/Season Pass).
Banned Footage Vol. 2 includes “Daughters”, which features a deeper look at the Baker family’s life before the events of the game; “21,” where players will need to gamble with their own life in a deadly game with Lucas Baker; and “Jack’s 55th Birthday,” an extra game mode where players undertake a timed challenge to present Jack Baker with tons of treats for his birthday. (PSVR is not supported in “Jack’s 55th Birthday.”)
Deus Ex: Breach
Deus Ex: Breach has received a free update. All previous cases must be solved before players can access the new content, which includes:
- Ghost Networks: Randomly generated server networks made available each day. Players can complete them for extra rewards.
- Picus Servers: Scattered throughout the Palisade Networks are 11 all-new Picus Corporation server maps.
- New Darknet Files
- New Weapons and items
Farming Simulator 17
Multiplatform Farming Simulator 17 has added new DLC. The KUHN Equipment Pack provides players with 18 high quality tools for field work, giving more options for working with square and round bales. The is available for download on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC & MAC. The DLC is also included within the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One Season Pass.
Mobile game Mabinogi Duel has been updated. Players now have a new home menu which allows in-game content to be viewed at a glance. In addition, players of this mobile TCG will now be able to access the Forrest of the Dead generation and new boosters, as well use new Special Tickets to enter arenas and unlock card boosters as well as choose their background music.
Crusader Kings II
Crusader Kings II is sharing a DLC pack with its players. The DLC is a South Indian portrait pack, free to download for all owners of the game.
